Exhibit C <br />Mining Plan <br />Blue Valley Pit <br />A. The Project will begin in January of 2015 and end in July of 2017. <br />B. There is an approximate 6" of topsoil to be stripped and <br />stockpiled as per Exhibit E. All topsoil piles will be temporarily <br />stabilized by seeding. <br />a. Seed mix will be seasonably available seed as included in the <br />permanent reclamation seed mix. Application rate will be <br />approximately: <br />Species <br />Variety <br />PLS lb/ac <br />Bluebunch wheatgrass <br />2.0 <br />Muttongrass <br />0.2 <br />Western wheatgrass <br />Arriba <br />1.5 <br />Prairie junegrass <br />0.2 <br />Bottlebrush squirreltail <br />0,8 <br />Indian ricegrass <br />0,8 <br />Total <br />5.5 <br />Alternative Seed based on availability may include sheep fescue, <br />Idaho fescue, Sandberg Bluegrass, slender wheatgrass, mountain <br />bromgrass or neadleandthread. Seed will be mulched with weed <br />free hay or straw and crimped with dozer tracks. The seed mix <br />should be the same or similar to the reclamation seed mix with <br />the exception of Ladak Alfalfa which may attract wildlife into the <br />work area. <br />C. There is an approximate 1' -3' of overburden to be stockpiled and <br />placed on slopes before topsoiling. Overburden will be placed an <br />an average depth of 18" and topsoil will be placed at an average <br />depth of 6 ". <br />
