Please provide a copy of the Geotechnical evaluation report for the proposed mine site, if <br />available, for the Division's file and review. <br />4. Please provide a copy of the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) soils report for the proposed mine <br />site, if available, for the Division's file and review. <br />6.3.3 Exhibit C — Mining Plan <br />5. The Applicant states all topsoil stockpiles will be temporarily stabilized by seeding. Please <br />provide a seed mixture in pounds of pure live seed per acre. The Division recommends the <br />Applicant uses the Reclamation Plan seed mixture for topsoil stabilization. <br />6. The Applicant states a portable crusher will be used to produce aggregate for the CDOT project <br />on Colorado State Highway 9. As required by Rule 6.3.4(m), please indicate the location of the <br />processing plant on Exhibit E — Map. <br />7. Please state if concrete and /or asphalt plants will be located on the proposed mine site. Please <br />indicate the location of the plants and confirm the required County permits will be obtained for <br />the plants, as needed. <br />8. Please state if fuel and oil products will be stored at the proposed mine site. If fuel and oil <br />products are stored on site, please confirm a Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan <br />(SPCC) will be obtained from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment <br />(CDPHE). Please update Exhibit F to indicate the SPCC permit, as needed. Additionally, please <br />state if mining equipment will be serviced on site. <br />9. The Applicant states approximately 12,000 gallons of water per day will be hauled to the pit. <br />Please state how the Applicant plans to store the imported water and update Exhibit C — Mine <br />Plan and Exhibit E — Maps accordingly. <br />10. The Applicant states it is not anticipated groundwater will be encountered. Please commit to <br />staying a minimum of two feet above the groundwater level. <br />11. The Applicant states slopes of 3H:1V or flatter will be constructed to control erosion. Please <br />clarify if the perimeter slopes will be mined at the final 3H:1V slope or mined vertical and <br />backfilled to 3H:1V. <br />6.3.5 Exhibit E — Map <br />12. Please indentify the owner of the substance to be mined, Colorado State Land Board, on <br />Exhibit E — Mining Plan Map. <br />
