February 26, 2015 C-1980-004/McClane Canyon Mine ZTT <br /> <br /> <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br />Additional site cleanup of coal fines along the site has occurred between this and the previous inspection. The area <br />most notably of concern was the region between the East Salt Creek and the sediment pond. The area has been <br />groomed and swept for all coal fines. Walk through of the area showed no major signs of any coal fines remaining <br />in the area. The region has been ripped and was waiting to be reseeded. Corey Heaps stated the area is to be <br />reseeded once weather permits. <br /> <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The haul road was stable with no issues observed. The haul road berm was stable and no signs of breaches were <br />found. All surface runoff from the road is directed to the sediment pond. <br /> <br />REVEGETATION Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />Areas that were ripped and graded during the coal fines removal is to be reseeded once weather permits. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02: <br />Topsoil marker was located on top of the topsoil pile located below the sediment pond. <br /> <br />Mine identification signs were located at the mine entrance gate.
