T.;
CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co.
ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec
SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster
wheeler
A Cat mini - excavator began preparing anchor trench on Bench C including pre- excavation and
backfill of approximately 1 -foot below finished sub -grade elevation on the shoulder of the bench.
Approximately 250 feet' of anchor trench excavation and backfilling occurred.
Spent Ore:
Mine Operations hauled and stockpiled spent ore (SO) in the PSSA using Cat 793 haul trucks
and a Cat dozer. Spent ore elevations were maintained above the drain cover fill grade by at
least 20 feet for 793 haul traffic.
Spent ore was placed and compacted as engineered fill beneath the footprint of the ADR2
foundation. CQA monitoring was observed by New Fields.
Ames placed SO around the high volume solution collection system ( HVSCS) riser piping. Amec
confirmed that rubber tired and dozer equipment stayed clear of the riser pipes during placement
and that lift surfaces were scarified prior to placement of subsequent lifts.
Three of the last four remaining HVSCS 24" vertical steel risers were extended in 31.5' sections.
The HVSCS piping was welded into place and included level indicator piping. Adjustments were
made by Ames surveyors to ensure proper installation. The pipes were wrapped with
geomembrane before burial per project plans and site instruction.
Subgrade: Phase 1 and 2 rough subgrade preparation occurred. No additional subgrade was
approved during this reporting period.
Cameron Site: SLF processing continued at the Cameron Site.
Underdrain System:
Primary Underdrain: Complete.
Secondary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period.
Tertiary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period.
Leak Detection: No work was performed during this reporting period.
B) Underground Workings:
None.
II) Storm Water Management
Best Management Practices (BMPs) are being performed.
