Knelson Concentrator
The Knelson Concentrator is a centrifugal bowl concentrator that uses fast spinning action to
create centrifugal force which then separates materials by their density. This will be used in the
mill to enhance concentration of the denser sulfide minerals and gold, which will help recovery
and hblp ensure that the tails have the least amount of sulfides possible. The concentrator is
approximately 6 feet in diameter and 6 feet high. It uses water to effect the density separation
and no other chemicals are required for this item. All water will be recycled in the mill system.
The concentrator will be placed after the ball mill but before the flotation cells. In the worst
case reclamation, it will be left underground, therefore, there is no bond cost required.
