The geology across the draw was described as the granite being the top <br />layer in the current work area and on the other side of the draw the granite <br />layer was the second layer. Only one loader has scales and there are no <br />belt scales. The belts and other related equipment were not in use due to a <br />screen being replaced. The base material was going off to FTC and there <br />was no structural fill production. The loaders were moving and the water <br />truck was spraying. <br />The focus for this inspection was to talk about production, scale <br />certifications, status of geology research by BLM, and contract transfer. <br />Tom stated that he would work with Kelly to get the succession of <br />operators for the contract paperwork done. The status of the geology <br />research was close to being done. A picture was taken of the scale <br />OTHER OBSERVATIONS /NOTES certification for this year. Tom stated that he had received an email stating <br />that the state is extending the scale certification to December. He said that <br />the state and county mining permits were transferred to them at the start <br />of September. <br />ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN: FOR BLM: <br />1. Continue to look into structural geology in area of eroded bench. <br />2. Continue to process photogrammetry effort for this site, in order to <br />better understand status of federal mineral reserve. <br />FOR RED CANYON QUARRY: <br />1.
