Please indicate if the Applicant has <br />contacted Hazardous Waste Materials and Waste Management Division in regard to needing <br />a permit for the Federal Mill. If a determination was made that a permit was not required, <br />then please provide the Division with any available documentation. Also, please provide the <br />Division with the address of the Federal Mill. <br />6.4.21 Exhibit U — Designated Mining Operation Environmental Protection Plan <br />12. The Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) states employee training will include Material <br />Safety Data Sheets for all fuels and other materials that may be stored and used on site. The <br />Applicant has stated no fuel will be stored on site and no processing will occur. Please revise <br />the text in the EPP to reflect that no fuel or other chemicals will be stored on site. <br />13. The EPP states an emergency plan is in place in the event there is a chemical spill on site. <br />However, the Applicant has stated no chemicals will be used or stored on site. Please revise <br />the text in the EPP accordingly. <br />As previously mentioned, if you are unable to provide satisfactory responses to any inadequacies <br />prior to the decision date (March 16, 2015), it will be your responsibility to request an <br />extension of time to allow for continued review of this application.
