Richardson Lode Claims; DRMS File No. M- 2014 -066; Adequacy Review <br />No. 2 <br />Dear Mr. Williams, <br />The Division has identified several other comments and questions that must be addressed prior to <br />the Division's decision due date. Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily <br />address any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your <br />responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues <br />that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no <br />extension has been requested, the Division will deny this application. <br />The Applicant provided proof 'of mailing of notices to the owners of record of affected land <br />within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land. The noticed parties did not include the <br />Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Please specify if there is BLM property is located <br />within 200 feet of the proposed operation. If so, then a copy of the notice must be provided to <br />the BLM and they must be afforded an opportunity to provide public comments. <br />6.3.3 Exhibit C — Mining Plan <br />2. The Applicant has revised the Mining Plan to eliminate the use of water for the proposed <br />mining operation. However, the Applicant has stated that dust will be suppressed. <br />Presumably a water truck will be used to suppress the dust. If this is the case, then you must <br />specify the source of this water as required by rule 6.3.3(1)(h). <br />6.3.4 Exhibit D — Reclamation Plan <br />3. The Applicant has stated 154 cubic yards of Biocompost will be delivered to the site and will <br />be spread over the affected area during final reclamation. In addition, the Reclamation Plan <br />calls for replacing growth medium at a depth of 2" — 4 ", or an average of 3 ". The affected <br />area corresponds to the Richardson Claim which is 0.574 acres.
