Skies were clear and temperatures were in the 30s. Wade <br />Wymore accompanied me throughout the entire inspection. <br />The area received several inches of snow on the Sunday and Monday preceding the inspection. <br />Undisturbed areas were snow - covered, but roads were cleared and generally wet (Photo 1). <br />PERMITTING UPDATE: <br />MT -07 Midterm Review No. 7 was issued by the Division on Feb. 18, 2015. A number of areas <br />were identified for which the permit will need to be updated. <br />TR -20 Coal Mine Waste for Highwall Backfill. The Division issued an adequacy review on <br />Nov. 14, 2014 and is awaiting GCC's response. The current decision due date is Feb. 27, 2015; <br />an extension to that date should be requested by GCC. <br />Reports — The Annual Hydrology Report (AHR) was submitted by GCC on Jan. 14 and the <br />Annual Reclamation Report (ARR) was received on Feb. 23, 2015. The Division is currently <br />reviewing these reports for adequacy and accuracy. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS Rule 4.02: <br />• New Mine Identification signs for King I and King II have been ordered. Mr. Wymore <br />provided a picture of the new format; all of the information required by Rule 4.02.2 will be <br />provided. The signs will be displayed at the entrances from County Road 120. <br />Signs identifying the topsoil stockpile located immediately west of the King II sediment pond <br />have been relocated from their previous positions (between the trees and the haul road) onto <br />the top of the pile. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />• Highway haul trucks were being loaded from the silos at the scales (Photo 2). <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 Page 2 of 7 <br />
