0 <br />L <br />Natural Soda, LLC <br />4.0 2014 Project Activities <br />2014 Project Status Report & Annual Plan of Development <br />4.1 On -Site Facilities and Process Description <br />4.1.1 General Arrangement <br />Figure 5 provides an overview of the process flow. <br />4.1.2 Lab Operation / Sanitation/ ISO <br />Laboratory activities in 2014, provided chemical analysis for process control, quality <br />assurance, and regulatory requirements. <br />• Plant operators performed process control analyses. <br />• Chloride levels were monitored by both operations and laboratory personnel on all <br />USP grades to ensure USP standards were met. <br />• The USP test for insoluble materials was conducted on a per lot basis by laboratory <br />personnel and a filter test for insoluble materials was conducted on the dry product <br />once per shift by operations. <br />• Pests were controlled with the use of two UV bug lights and rodent traps around the <br />interior and exterior walls of the plant. <br />• GMP /ISO /Sanitation training was provided for all employees as required. <br />• A food safety and GMP audit was conducted by AIB International. From this audit, <br />Natural Soda received a passing grade. A food safety audit for FSSC 22000 was <br />conducted for which Natural Soda maintained GFSI certification. <br />• FDA, CDPHE, NSF, OMRI, Kosher, and ISO 9001 certifications were maintained. <br />4.1.3 Process, Utilities, Facilities <br />In 2014 NS improved utilities by adding one 12" diameter pipeline that extends from the <br />plant to the existing production well sets 10H -11 H- 12H -13H. This additional 12" <br />pipeline will improve the flow of fluid from the well field to the plant. There were <br />additional fluid pipelines added to the well field to attach the 8H production well pair, <br />14H production well pair, WSW -3 water supply well, and the WSW -4 water supply wells <br />to the plant facilities. There were no additions or modifications to the NS process, or <br />main facilities in 2014. Figure 5 illustrates the general process flow. <br />' DAUB &ASSOCIATES. INC. II, 10 January 2015 <br />
