EXHIBIT T: <br />ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION PLAN <br />This environmental protection plan is prepared for a proposed mining operation known as the <br />Iron & Wm. Richardson Lode Claims in Gilpin County, Colorado. Nevadaville Encore, LLC, <br />P. O. Box 1442, Central City, CO 80427, (3 03) 681 -1111, includes this plan as "Exhibit T" for a <br />Limited Impact (110d) Operation Reclamation Permit Application M- 2014 -066 with the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety. This site has been inspected by Tony <br />Waldron and Michael Cunningham of the DRMS in August of 2014. Photos of current <br />conditions at the mine site are attached to this permit application. <br />The dump ore to be removed consists primarily of previously mined quartz and pyrite. Other <br />metals will be present in small quantities. Oxidation of the pyritic materials contained in the <br />dump material generates sulfuric acid which causes metals in the material to be dissolved. The <br />proposed mining/reprocessing of the dump material consists of the removal of the acid <br />generating constituents of the dump and a non hazardous waste is generated. A TCLP will be <br />performed on the waste generated by the reprocessing to verify that the waste is non - hazardous. <br />If the test shows that the waste is hazardous the waste will be reprocessed and tested until the <br />waste is non - hazardous.. Our agreement with the Federal Mill requires that all waste produced <br />from the process is to be transported to a CDPHE permitted solid waste disposal facility. A <br />TCLP for the waste characterization for each mine is required for the land fill before disposal of <br />the waste. <br />The Federal Mill does not dispose of any waste on site and consequently no permit is required <br />from CDPHE. <br />The process that the Federal Mill uses is performed in an alkaline circuit which neutralizes all the <br />acidic portion of the mine tailings. After the neutralization of the acidic content of the tailings <br />substantially all the remaining acid producing potential material, i.e., iron pyrites, are recovered <br />for their contained gold and silver values and are shipped to smelters in China for the recovery of <br />the precious metals and the production of byproduct sulfuric acid. The slight quantity of non- <br />recovered sulfide material, with acid - generating potential, is balanced by the alkaline material <br />(lime) used in the process so that no net acid - generating potential remains. The Federal Mill will <br />provide a copy of the TCLP for the ultimate waste after an initial production of less than one <br />hundred tons of tailings has been processed and the waste is categorized, i.e., that the material <br />meets the requirements of the ultimate landfill's CDPHE solid waste disposal permit as non- <br />hazardous waste. <br />The treatment method above outlined has been used by the mill operator previously on several <br />different permitted mine sites and has always produced a solid waste that will meet the <br />appropriate standards as a non - hazardous solid waste. The reason for this is the neutralization <br />and removal of the acid - generating potential of the waste. In addition, the United States EPA in <br />the ROD for the Idaho Springs — Central City Superfund Study Area preformed testing on the <br />dump materials in the study area and determined that the waste generated from the testing, using <br />
