Please revise the King I maps to accurately depict the true affected area, given the <br />final extent of the workings and associated projection of the angle of draw to the <br />surface. <br />b. Once this area is determined, please update the affected acreage provided in King I <br />Section 2.03.8. Acreages shown for disturbance at the surface facilities for King I and <br />King 11 should also be reviewed, and updated as necessary. <br />C. Please update the various permit maps as necessary to enlarge the permit area so as <br />to incorporate all affected areas into the permit area. <br />2.03.9 Insurance Information <br />1. An outdated copy of the public liability insurance policy certificate is located in Appendices <br />14 of the permit (expired on 09/01/2007). <br />a. Please update King I and King II Appendix 14 with a current and active copy of the <br />public liability insurance policy certificate in accordance with Rule 2.03.9(1). <br />b. In accordance with Rule 2.03.9(3), please ensure the policy includes a rider requiring <br />that the insurer notify the Division whenever substantive changes are made in the <br />policy, including any termination or failure to renew. <br />2.03.10 Other Licenses and Permits <br />1. The Division understands that GCC Energy, LLC is currently pursuing a Class II Special Use <br />Permit through La Plata County. Please revise Sections 2.03.10 of the permit to include <br />the identification number of the Class II Special Use Permit application in accordance with <br />Rule 2.03.10(3). <br />2. The Colorado Wastewater Discharge Permit System Certification listed in 2.03.10 and <br />found in Appendix 2(3) expired on June 30, 2013. Please submit, for inclusion in the <br />permit, the letter issued to Coal operators by the Water Quality Control Division <br />documenting that an administrative extension has been granted. <br />2.04.7 Baseline Hydrology Description <br />1. Water resources within one mile of the permit boundary [2.04.7(1)(a) and 2.04.7(4)] are <br />described in King I Section 2.04.7 (pages 4 -5) and King II Section 2.04.7 (page 3). Locations <br />are depicted on Maps King 1 -004 and King 11 -004, although the maps do not extend a full <br />mile in all directions from the affected area. The information was last updated for King I in <br />August 1999 and for King 11 in August 2005. Please update and revise as necessary the <br />water resources text and associated maps in accordance with 2.04.7. <br />2. Rule 2.04.7(3) referring to alternative water supply information was discussed in part in <br />Section 2.05.6(3) of the permit. Water augmentation and water rights document <br />approved by District Court, Water Division 7 is provided in King 11 Appendix 2(5).
