The field parameters that will be frequently tested according to the schedule in Table 1 are pH,
conductivity, temperature, settleable solids and flow. The baseline levels for these parameters,
excluding flow, are listed below in Table 3. Note that settleable solids has never been measured
in the field before, so a baseline is not available for this standard.
Table 3 — Baseline Levels for Field Test Parameters
Parameters
Units
M
r-
r\
n

LO
a
UD
rn
v
m
Rt

Average
Average
LD
W
^
^
^
w
+20%
Ln
pH
pH Units
6 to 7
8.18
8.2
8.1
8.37
8.4
8.2
8.241667
9.89
pH measured at
C
1 6.2
22*
19.7*
6.2
7.44
Specific Conductance I
umhos /cm
405
194
1 210
269.6667
323.6
*Note: "Temperature measured in lab at ambient room temperature, not in field.
Historical flow data for the Hock Hocking Mine discharge is shown below in Figure 1.
dock HOCKing Flows
1.6
1.4
1.2
1
Cr)
LL. 0.8
L►
0.6
0.4
0.2
Months
Figure 1 - Hock Hocking Historical Flows
