February 11, 2015 C- 1982 - 057 /Seneca II -W Mine JHB <br />The inspector attempted to access other drainages via snowshoes, but found travel difficult. No other ponds were <br />observed. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03, Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and <br />(6) <br />As noted in the hydrology section, only the main access road, access road A, and the oil well road have <br />been plowed. All other permanent roads are snow covered with only snow mobile tracks visible. The inspector <br />attempted to drive access road A past the area that had been plowed. The snow drifts were too deep and the road <br />was too soft, so the effort was abandoned. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br />The Pit Ramp Slide was viewed through binoculars. This slide has not changed in appearance. No <br />movement of this area was indicated by any changes in the appearance of the slope. <br />Drainages PM -2A and PM -213 were viewed via binoculars. This drainage basin appeared stable and showed no <br />indication of recent slumps or slides. <br />Observation of other portions of the mine; Ridgeline and Pond 005 watershed were hampered by inaccessibility. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The mine access road is plowed to the shop area. No activity was taking place at the shop at the time of <br />the inspection. It appeared that very little activity had occurred at the shop area recently.
