The DRMS' letter dated January 13, 2014 requested additional information. On behalf of Bowie
Resources, LLC, enclosed is the revised data.
The numbering convention follows the first three adequacy review letters; items resolved prior to
the third adequacy review response have been omitted.
9. DRMS: BRL provided design information for Culvert C -629, as requested. However,
Culvert C -1329 is not listed on page EXH -8 -31. Please revise page EXH -8 -31 to include
Culvert C -B29.
BRL: Please see revised page Exh.8 -31.
20. Issue resolved
21. DRMS: BRL revised Maps 15 -3, 20, and 21 -3 as requested. Map 15 -3, however, was
printed without the culvert layer added. Please submit a revised Map 15 -3 that includes the
culvert locations, consistent with the other three sheets of the Map 15 series.
BRL: Please see revised Map 15 -3.
BRL noted that the revised coverfill pile configuration caused changes to several ditches
and culverts. Notably, Ditch D -J2 was removed from the maps and designs. D -J2 appears to
have been redirected from discharging to Ditch J -3 to discharge instead to the lower segment of
the East Clean Water Diversion. Design information for the ditch carrying flow from the
cover material pile to the clean water ditch must be included in the permit application
package, if there will be a ditch constructed on the ground.
