This is the minimum volume that will be stockpiled at either of the two locations (Piles #1 and #2). It <br />is also the volume that will be required to be spread at the end of the mine life. <br />The gravel operation generates approximately 750 cy of fines per 100,000 tons processed. Since the <br />operation will process 130,000 tpy, the fines produced per year is 975 tons. Therefore, over the 15 <br />year life of the gravel operation, it is expected that 14625 tons of fines will be produced, which is <br />more than enough to cover the 23.1 acre area to be reclaimed with at least 3 inches thickness. The <br />Trust will make every effort to increase this thickness and will salvage and use all fines that can be <br />reasonably obtained from the sediment collection system. <br />Alma Placer Mine 1/15 36 <br />
