2.04.7 Hydrology Description <br />Map Code 30, Gravel Pit Pond. Water right located south east of the <br />loadout facility and lies upgradient. Water right outside of area that could <br />be potentially affected by loadout operation. No protection required. <br />Map Code 31, Gravel Pit Pond. Water right located south east of the <br />loadout facility and lies upgradient. Water right outside of area that could <br />be potentially affected by loadout operation. No protection required. <br />Map Code 32, Monitoring Well #219164. Water right located south east of <br />the loadout facility and lies upgradient. Water right outside of area that <br />could be potentially affected by loadout operation. No protection required. <br />No well yield listed with (SEO). <br />Map Code 33, Tavistock #1. Water right location Loma Drain. 2.5 cfs <br />conditional can be used for irrigation and all industrial uses. Operator <br />owned water right. <br />Map Code 34, Tavistock #2. Water right location Reed Wash. 0.75 cfs <br />conditional can be used for all industrial uses. Operator owned water right. <br />The United States Fish and Wildlife Service ( USFWS), considers any <br />consumptive use of water by the mine to deplete the flow in the Colorado <br />River. Water depletions in the Upper Colorado River Basin have been <br />recognized as a major source of impact to endangered fish species <br />( USFWS 2/93). The Applicant will implement the conservation measures <br />that the USFWS believe are necessary to offset this impact. <br />Wildlife use of water in the permit and adjacent areas is for subsistence. <br />Wildlife use the perennial streams and ponds. The ponds used by <br />wildlife are located west of the Loma Drain. It is unlikely wildlife use the <br />industrial ponds located east of Reed Wash. The wildlife ponds will not be <br />affected by the loadout operation because they are located west of Loma <br />Drain . <br />MR-01 2.04 -26 09/14 <br />
