• Results of the stability analysis indicate adequate stability of the embankment slopes under
fully developed seepage conditions. Under static conditions, the factor of safety was 1.55,
above the minircwm 1.5 required by Rule 4.05.6(111(j-, considering the probability of damage
to the adjacent Highway. Under pseudostatic conditions, to model the seismic stability of the
embankment, tYie analysis proved the embankment to be stable with a 1,26 factor of safety
(above the requirement of 1.21.
