The ripraprundown below the culvert where the “sock” was removed <br />appeared to be stable (as noted in the Hydrologic Balance section). <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />At the portal area, RDA, Pond 3, loadout, and other reclaimed areas of the site no large bare spots, <br />erosion, or weed patches were seen. The RDA was inspected from the road/track along the toe. <br />The erosion control practices (BMPs) at the portal area were inspected. Near the gravel lot, wattles have been <br />installed. <br />OFFSITE SUPPORT FACILIITES -Rule 4.04, 4.28: <br />Near the entrance to the west side of the loadout, the pile of branches (dumped by trespassers) remains. <br />However, other trash at the loadout has been removed. <br />At the loadout, reclamation of Ponds L-1 and L-2 had been completed at the time of the inspection. The surfaces <br />at both sites are well roughened and straw mulch is in place. Silt fence has been installed at the discharge point for <br />the Pond L2 area. The silt fence at the Pond L1 area remains stable. No sediment deposition was observed in the <br />adjacent areas below these reclaimed areas. <br />TOPSOIL –Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />Two topsoil stockpiles were observed and no significantproblems were identified. These include the one <br />near the gravel parking lot in the facilities area and the one at the northwest corner of the RDA.
