Pond inlets <br /> and embankments were stable. WFC will reseed the side slopes in the fall. Repairs have also been made to several <br /> locations along the East Ditch. Also during the June, 2014 inspection the Division noted that there were isolated <br /> sections along the East Ditch that were breached on the disturbance side of the ditch and areas of erosion occurring <br /> within the ditch. These segments were repaired and are shown in Photograph No.'s 3 and 4. A segment of the <br /> NHN-001 West Ditch has been reconstructed in the vicinity of the monitoring wells to remove the access road to <br /> the wells that crossed the ditch(see Photograph No. 5). <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04: <br /> The facilities area constructed in the southeast corner of the permit area was viewed. The secondary containment <br /> for the diesel fuel storage tank is in good condition. The office and facilities area were well maintained, and no <br /> problems were noted at any of the various support facilities during this inspection. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06 <br /> Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> The two large topsoil piles located on-site(progresso soils in the north pile and mixed soils in the south pile) are <br /> bermed but lack vegetative cover. The vegetation is sparse particularly on the progresso soil pile(Photograph No. <br /> 6). The operator will reseed the piles where needed in the fall.
