ameO <br /> Structural fill was placed upslope from K-Bench stations K34+00 to K41+00. The structural fill <br /> material placed in this area came from the following locations: <br /> • The Surge area east of the Phase 2 Diversion Channel station 50+00 (day and night <br /> shift) <br /> • Stockpiled material from the Squaw Gulch Valley Leach Facility(SGVLF) haul road at <br /> various stations(dayshift) <br /> Any oversized material encountered was reduced in size by an excavator with a hammer <br /> attachment. <br /> Slope grading occurred in the Phase 1 area above SGVLF haul road stations 65+00 to 70+00. <br /> Material generated from slope grading activities was stockpiled for subsequent removal and use <br /> as structural fill. <br /> Subgrade: (Operations Temporarily Suspended) <br /> Soil Liner Fill (SLF): (Placement Operations Temporarily Suspended) <br /> SLF was hauled from the Cameron Clay Pit area and stockpiled below Bench F between stations <br /> F0+00 and F10+00. <br /> Soil liner fill was placed to create an access road along the east Phase 1 slope approximately 50 <br /> feet downslope of Bench FF stations FFO+00 to FF8+00 for subsequent leak detection trench <br /> construction access. <br /> Cameron Site: SLF processing continued at the Cameron Site. <br /> Underdrain System: <br /> Primary Underdrain: Complete. <br /> Secondary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> Tertiary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> Leak Detection: No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> B) Underground Workings: <br /> Underground working UG 6579 was backfilled above previously placed cemented rock fill using <br /> onsite structural fill, compacted per project specifications, and is considered remediated. <br /> Ames began backfilling underground working UG 6551 above previously placed cemented rock <br /> fill with an excavator using onsite structural fill. Additional remediation is required. <br /> C) Geomembrane: <br /> Phase 1 80-mil DSMS LLDPE Liner Installation: (80-mil liner installation is suspended at this <br /> time.) <br /> D) Drain Cover Fill (DCF) (Placement operations suspended at this time.) <br /> E) High Volume Solution Collection System Piping (HVSCS): <br /> No work was performed during this reporting period. <br /> II) Storm Water Management <br /> Best Management Practices (BMPs)are being performed. <br /> 2014-11-29-MLE2 WEEKLY FINAL Page 2 of 6 <br />
