This Special Use Permit was approved by the Planning Commission on December 19, <br /> 2006. <br /> LOCATION <br /> The properties are located south of Highway 96 East, in areas to the east and to the west of 39th <br /> Lane, north of the Arkansas River. The property is within portions of Sections 33, 34, and 35, <br /> Township 20 South, Range 63 West of the 6th P.M., Pueblo County, Colorado. (Exhibit 1 — <br /> Vicinity Map) <br /> STATUS <br /> The applicant submitted a status report on December 2, 2014 which states in part: <br /> The Blue Grass Gravel Pit is an established active gravel pit currently in cessation with <br /> the DRMS:due to the slow construction in the local region. Mining activity was <br /> nonexistent last year in the permitted area.
