Box 483 <br />Paonia, CO 81428 <br />Re: Bowie No. 2 Mine (Permit No. C- 1996 -083) <br />Technical Revision No. 91 (TR- 91) <br />Drainage /Sediment Control /SAE Updates <br />Third Adequacy Review <br />Dear Mr. Bear: <br />The Division has reviewed the November 18, 2014 response, submitted by JE Stover and <br />Associates on behalf of Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL), to the Division's October 9, 2014 second <br />adequacy review letter for Technical Revision No. 91 (TR -91) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The <br />revision updates the drainage and sediment control information in the currently approved <br />permit application package, in response to deficiencies identified during recent inspections. <br />We have the following comments and questions regarding BRL's response and revised <br />application materials. The numbering convention follows the first two adequacy review letters; <br />items resolved in the second adequacy review response have been omitted. <br />2. a. Item resolved; BRL revised the flow value for Ditch D2 as requested. <br />b. Item resolved; BRL submitted an intentionally blank page Exh 8 -29ii, as requested. <br />3. Item resolved; BRL submitted a revised page Exh -8 -32i as requested. <br />4. Item resolved; BRL submitted updated the design information as requested. <br />6. Item resolved; BRL submitted included the culvert nomograph reference on page B -31i, as <br />requested. <br />8. a. Item resolved; BRL revised page Exh -8 -31 as requested. <br />b.
