Please update the stability analysis to include surcharge <br />loads from structures, roads (Monaco Street), gas well facili- <br />ties, topsoil stockpiles and any other appropriate loads. <br />See Deere and Ault's revised Geotechnical Analysis. <br />2. Please clarify if the 200 foot offset from the City of Thorn- <br />ton Reservoir slurry wall if from the centerline of the slurry <br />wall, eastern toe of the slurry wall embankment or other refer- <br />ence point. Please update and mining and reclamation plan maps <br />accordingly. <br />No mining will take place within 200 feet of the eastern most point on, any part of the <br />slurry wall or dam structure owned by the City of Thornton. The existing Mining Plan <br />Map shows that but the scale is such that a couple of feet here or there, is not decipher- <br />able. <br />3. The Applicant did not specify an offset and mining slope for <br />the north and east side of Phase 1. Please provide the proposed <br />Phase 1 north and east side offset and mining slope. <br />Mining in Phase 1 will begin 10 feet inside the slurry wall on the north and east sides. A <br />'/z to 1 working face will be used. <br />4. The Applicant did not specify an offset and mining slope for <br />the ,Test side of Phase 2. Please provide the proposed Phase 2 <br />west side offset and mining slope. <br />Mining in Phase 2 will begin 10 feet inside the slurry wall along the west side. A' /z to 1 <br />working face will be used. <br />5. Please update the Geotechnical Stability Exhibit for the <br />north, east and south sides of the mine to include the proposed <br />slurry wall and anticipated hydrostatic level. <br />Deere and Ault is in the process of revising the Geotechnical Analysis to cover all sides <br />of the mine and to establish the proper mining setbacks. <br />6. The Applicant did not provide a typical soil profile descrip- <br />tion or illustration. Please provide a typical soil,profile for <br />the stability analyses. <br />
