R
from road construction projects. This is "tear -out" road materials from areas in Boulder and
western Weld Counties. This area consists of approximately 8.3 acres and will contain portable
crushing and screening equipment brought onto the site every 2 -3 months to process the tear -
out asphalt and concrete into recycled road building materials. Stockpiles will consist of un-
crushed concrete and asphalt and crushed /screened concrete and asphalt. Piles will contain 3-
4,000 cubic yards of material each and there will be usually no more than four piles of material.
See revised Exhibit C -2 -Sheet 2. Concurrent with the approval for this TR through the DRMS,
ASCI is also submitting an amendment to Weld County to gain approval from the county for this
activity to the Use by Special Review already approved for the Turnpike Mining Resource. Initial
response by the Weld County Planning Dept. is favorable towards approval of the amendment
allowing recycling on this site.
New alluvial groundwater monitoring wells for static water elevations required by the approval
of AM -2 in 2012 are also accurately shown by location and nomenclature on Exhbit C -2 -Sheet 2,
the southern area of the mine site.
Areas other than Cell 3 have also had oil and gas flowlines removed, however these areas have
not affected the mining boundaries as approved in the AM -2 mine and reclamation plan maps.
No changes are required to Exhibit F- Reclamation Plan and so a revised plan is not being
submitted with this TR.
