I, Jared Ebert <br />of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. Mr. Graham Roberts with <br />Trapper Mining, Inc. accompanied me during the inspection. The weather on November 13, 2014 was cold and <br />snowy. The weather on November 14th, 2014 was partly cloudy and cool. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The Division conducted a records check at the mine office on Friday November 14, 2014. See the end of the <br />report for details. <br /> <br />BACKFILL and GRADING Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Trapper was contemporaneously backfilling spoil behind the advancing pits. <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />Horse Gulch Fill was observed. The face of the fill appeared stable and large cracks and slumps were not <br />observed. The side drains of the fill were stable and functional. <br /> <br />EXPLOSIVES Rule 4.08 <br />Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br />Trapper has installed a new air blast monitoring unit.
