Compliance With Mine Plan - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NANA <br /> - Other - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NAR <br /> - Processing Waste - Topsoil <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />This was a complete inspection of the Keenesburg Strip Mine; DRMS Permit No. C-1981-028 operated by Coors <br />Energy Company(CEC). I, Jared Ebert of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (Division) <br />conducted the inspection. Mr. Danny Kipp with CEC accompanied me during the inspection. The weather was <br />clear and warm. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION Rule 4.17: <br />The roads were graded and maintained and were not a source of dust. The operator is spreading a small layer of <br />spoil on top of the backfilled ash to help keep the ash from blowing with the wind. <br /> <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The mine records were checked, see the end of this report for details. <br /> <br />BACKFILL and GRADING Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />CEC continues to backfill B-Pit with fly ash. Two loads of ash had been delivered to the site prior to the <br />inspection.
