Schlosser Inc. <br /> Regular 112 Permit Application <br /> Schlosser Pit 1 <br /> EXHIBIT G - WATER INFORMATION <br /> (1) Will the Operation Directly Affect Surface or Groundwater Systems <br /> This operation will not directly affect the surface or groundwater systems. No water will be <br /> exposed during the course of mining. The depth of ground water is approximately (`). <br /> (2) If the Operation is to Directly Affect Surface or Groundwater Systems the Applicant/Operator <br /> shall: <br /> (a) Locate on the Map (Exhibit ) any tributary, wells, springs, stock water ponds, reservoirs, <br /> and ditches on the affected land. <br /> All tributary, wells, springs, stock water ponds, reservoirs and ditches have been <br /> identified on Exhibit . No water will be impeded from entering the proposed site. All <br /> storm water will be retained. <br /> (b) Indentify all known aquifers <br /> None known <br /> (c) Statement showing how water from de-watering or runoff will be managed. <br /> There will be no de-watering and any runoff returned to the pit from either rain of from <br /> stockpiled material will not create a pollution problem. There will be no discharge from <br /> the operation and only material removed from the pit will be put back in the pit. Any <br /> snow or rain will percolate into the system. This will be a self contained pit with n runoff. <br /> (3) Estimate of the Project Water Requirements <br /> The only water that will be used is approximately 50,000 gallons per year for dust control. <br /> (4) Projected Amount from Each Source of Water to Water to Supply the Project Water <br /> Requirements. <br /> Approximately 50,000 gallons per year will be used for dust control. This water will be pro- <br /> vided by Schlosser Inc. <br /> (5) Affirmatively State that the Applicant/Operator had applied for a NPDES Permit <br /> Schlosser Inc.will apply for a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) per- <br /> mit from the Water Quality Control Division at the Colorado Department of Health as soon as <br /> the permit has been issued. <br /> � — 1 <br />
