Compliance With Mine Plan - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NNA <br /> - Other - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NAY <br /> - Processing Waste - Topsoil <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />This was a complete inspection of the Yoast Mine conducted by Janet Binns of CDRMS. The mine is a reclaimed <br />surface mine. The majority of the site has been reclaimed. Structures that remain include limited access roads, <br />stocktanks, sediment ponds, drainages, culverts, ditches, a substation, powerlines & powerpoles, signs and <br />markers, fences and monitoring wells. <br /> <br />The weather was clear and dry. SCC personnel said that the area had received a good rain several days prior to the <br />inspection. Scott Cowman of SCC was available during inspection of the mine records, but no mine personnel <br />accompanied the on-site inspection. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Records associated with the Yoast permit are stored and maintained at the mine office at the Peabody Sage <br />Creek Mine. All buildings at the Yoast mine have been reclaimed and no personnel remain on site. <br /> <br />The records were complete and up to date. Quarterly Pond Inspection reports were not located until 10/17/2014. <br /> <br />SCC has posted an updated mine id sign at the entrance to the Yoast Mine. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE Rule 4.18: <br /> SCC had no approved hunters on site. None were encountered.
