TR-07 MINING PLAN
18. No operations will occur within 200 feet of any operating oil or gas well or oil or gas lines
without FIRST obtaining permission from the well or pipeline owner and the additional disturbance
is also APPROVED by the Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners and the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety (or Mined Land Reclamation Board). Also see Requirements 3 and
4.
See page 14.
Mining Plan
Introduction: The following mining plan contains requirements that exceed what is normally expected
of mine operators. These requirements are needed primarily to comply with the lease and fulfill the
expectations of the lease. The terms of the lease, set by agreement between the lessor and lessee, are
intended to protect the special resources on this Stewardship Trust Land. Many parties use this land and all
parties are expected to strictly adhere to the special needs of protecting this land. All parties are expected,
by the Colorado State Board of Land Commissioners, to cooperate in the effort of maintaining the values
of this land.
This mining plan contains several sections. The first sections describe the boundary and
disturbance limitations, the nature of the deposit, and the general processes, procedures and requirements
for conducting the mining. For the mining and reclamation to properly integrate, the requirements must be
closely followed.
The last and smallest section discusses the need to work with other lessees who have rights to this
property and a short discussion on how the mining and reclamation integrate. All of these sections
constitute the mining plan as required for Reclamation Permit applications.
Exhibit C Maps - Description and Uses
Exhibit C, the mining plan maps, precede this exhibit and provide graphic explanation of the
mining plan and other baseline information for the site. Following is a description of the various maps and
how they fit into the mining plan and other exhibits.
Exhibit C-1: This map shows the entire site on a single map at a scale of 1"=600'. It shows the
pre-mining conditions. The affected land area includes all land that is expected be
affected by mining, access, and processing operations.
Exhibit C-2: This map shows the mining plan for the remaining land to be mined.
Map Scale: 1"=600'.
Coal Creek Sand Resource Amendment 3 (2005) - M-1988-044 Exhibit D Page 5
