If these pipes are required, identification on
appropriate maps is needed. If not required all non-coal waste will need to be disposed of.
- A small delta has formed at the inlet of the culverts from RDA-3 and RDA-1 at Pond D and at the northern inlet
of Pond D. Cleanout of this area is required.
- The outlet of the culvert under the warehouse access road was 3/4 full of sediment at the time of the inspection.
The culvert will require cleaning.
- The culvert in ditch RP-1 under the RDA access road is damaged at the inlet and will require repair.
- A small gully is forming north of the water tank above the 6 NM Sediment Pond that will require repair.

Ditches and culverts throughout the mine site were functioning as designed. No problems were noted with the
exception of the following:
- The inlet of the first culvert from the northern most end of the 18RT access road was approximately 1/2 full of
sediment. The area around the inlet was cleared; however the culvert remains half full at the inlet.
-
pipes are not identified on Map 24 and no designs for these pipes exist.
- The ditch along haul road c near the railway crossing has been cleaned and rock checks installed. The culvert
from the repaired roadside ditch under the railway tracks is full of sediment and will require cleaning.

Haul Road C Roadside Ditch Repair

GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE:
Twentymile Coal is in the process of a longwall move from longwall panel 15L outby to 14L. The longwall
shields have been brought to the surface for off-site repair or repair on-site. TR-83 proposes to ramp down from
the Wadge seam to the Wolf Creek seam. The Division is currently reviewing the application. As a part of the
application groundwater baseline data is required for the Wadge/Wolf Creek interburden and the Wolf Creek
seam. At the time of the inspection, contractors were on site at water wells conducting sampling.

PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES Rule 4.10 and 4.11
Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement:
The coal refuse disposal area (CRDA) and coal refuse disposal area expansion are constructed west of the
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 2
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2

714
Page of
