October 15, 2014 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine JLE <br />The primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br />West Flume pond was holding water but was not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and <br />functional. The embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />Oak 92 pond was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated. The <br />primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br />East Pyeatt 93 pond was holding water and discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated and the <br />primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br />Middle Pyeatt #3 pond was dry and not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and <br />functional. The embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />West Pyeatt 92 pond was dry and not discharging. The primary and emergency spillway was clear and functional. <br />The embankment was stable and vegetated. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />The topsoil stockpile adjacent to development drill site 2014 -M8 has been pushed further away from the road and <br />a small berm has been placed between the road and the topsoil stockpile. <br />According to Mr. Roberts, TMI has been conducting reclamation of several of the development drilling sites that <br />are ready for reclamation. The Division observed the 2013 -AE3 drill site, it appears this site has been graded and <br />topsoiled. <br />The active pit area was observed, the Queen Anne dragline was mining in the K -Strike pit and the Molly Brown <br />dragline was mining in the L -Pit. The truck and loader crew were loading and hauling scoria crushed rock for use <br />on the haul roads. <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): <br />At the lower end of the south side drainage of Horse Gulch Fill, a gully is forming within the channel. This gully <br />will need to be repaired. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />For Phase II bond release, in accordance with Rule 3.03.1(2)(b), up to eighty -five percent of the applicable bond <br />amount shall be released upon the establishment of vegetation which supports the approved post mine land use and <br />which meets the approved success standard for cover, pursuant to Rule 4.15.8. Evaluation of vegetation <br />establishment pursuant to this rule is based on statistically valid data collected during a single year of the liability <br />period. In accordance with Rule 3.03.2(2), the Division is required to inspect the areas requested for bond release <br />to evaluate the reclamation work.
