§2.06 REQUIREMENTS FOR PERMITS FOR SPECIAL CATEGORIES OF MINING <br />2.06.1 SCOPE <br />(1) No experimental practices will be applied to the train loadout and stockpile <br />areas. <br />(2) Mountaintop removal practices are not applied to the train loadout and <br />stockpile areas. <br />(3) Steep slope mining rules are not applicable to the train loadout and <br />stockpile areas. <br />(4) The areas within the permit boundary of the train loadout and stockpile <br />areas are not candidates for variances from standards requiring the <br />restoration of approximate original contours. <br />(5) No prime or unique farmlands have been identified within the permit area. <br />(6) The operator wi{I not delay contemporaneous reclamation of surface and <br />underground operations. <br />(7) After conducting detailed investigations concerning alluvial valley floor <br />areas, the operator received a negative determination from the Division <br />concerning Alluvial Valley Floors. These studies can be found in the <br />Alluvial Valley Floor Appendix in this volume. <br />(8) The operator will not practice auger mining techniques at the Bowie No. 1 <br />Mine. <br />(g) All support facilities are located within the permit area. <br />(10) In situ processing activities will not be conducted at the Bowie No. 1 Mine. <br />• <br />Permit Renewal <br />RN -o y ~ti / ~~o ~r~ <br />MR-106 <br />2.06 - 1 <br />1103 <br />
