Kunau Drilling LLC
23945 Lucky Lane
Calhan,CO 8oSoS
719-683-3720
7/28/2oi4
To Whom It May Concern
Concerning the spill containment for the tank I will be providing on-site for waste
water dumping:
The tank will be steel,289xii'. I plan on having it epoxy lined before it's
installed in the ground. A rubberliner will be installed in the ground on the outside
of the tank. This is to prevent the tank from leaking and contaminating the
ground. The tank will have padlocks on all ports to prevent tampering or
improper use. In the event of a spill the surrounding area(contaminated ground)
would be cleaned up and hauled off to a proper waste treatment site.
Concerning the maintenance of the tank:
Inspection ports will be installed on the outside of the liner on all four
corners of the tank to detect leaks. Hose and cam-lock fittings will need to stay in
good condition to maintain a clean area and prevent leaks/contamination. It will
be the responsibility of the person doing the dumping to check these every time we
dump into the tank. There will be no electric or pumps connected to the tank. The
type of pump used will be a vacuum pump mounted on the truck. There should be
no other maintenance required.
Sincerely,
Z"V'Kuinau
Owner,Kunau Drilling LLC
