Danny Paul Ardrey Estate Trust
13777 County Road 102
Elbert Colorado 80106
(303) 648-3273
March 12, 2014
County of Elbert
Community & Development Services
PO Box 7
Kiowa CO 80117
Project: Elbert Gravel Pit Storage
Dear Sirs,
I am petitioning for the re-approval for 4 operators— storage operations, at the Elbert
Gravel Pit. In 2007 while my mother was the Trustee for M & M Land Company approval
and operations began for storage of effluent by Honey Bee Pumping. My mother has since
passed away, all correspondence and documentation from that approval has been
misplaced.
Kunau Drilling is ready to move forward with the installation of another storage tank/transfer
station at the Gravel Pit. Both operators are licensed and insured and follow all County,
State and Federal guidelines for operations. The purpose of the station is the storage of
effluent until the tank is at capacity. At that time the effluent is transported out of the county
to be cleaned.
Both companies are providing service to our community by emptying septic tanks. They
are keeping our ground water protected. Both companies utilize existing infrastructure —
current highways and cause less distress by utilizing a storage tank/dump station. The
location of the tank cannot be seen from Elbert Highway and least a half a mile from any
residence.
ayo
u,
AL
Dan Ardrey
303-648-3273
