The proposed point of compliance wells are located down dip of the operation with an overburden of about 1900 feet. The wells are located near the WAPA Transmission line so access to the wells is reasonable. The wells may not be in the ideal down dip location but they are down dip of the majority of the western workings and they are in a location that will detect any impacts to water quality. Moving the wells to the west to find a more central location will increase the overburden depth 200 to 400 feet and will make access much more difficult. In summary, the wells will detect any impacts to water quality, access is reasonable and the wells are located in the lowest overburden down dip of the proposed western workings. 50.
