lyp Ciyr
STATE OF
COLORADO
Fwd: Formal complaint from Zigan Homeowners with regard to high water
levels
As the representative for the Zigan Homeowners Association, I would like to respectfully submit a formal
complaint in regards to excessively high water tables which I believe is directly attributed to the mining
operations in this area.
My home was built at 10900 E. 126th Ave in 1997. It is located 750' cast of Brighton road.
Ground water levels have been a major concern in this area since the installation of the slurry walls for the
Stagecoach pit by LaFarge and Brannon Sand and Gravel on Brighton Rd. We believe that as a direct result
of mining operations and slurry walls at the Stagecoach Pit(currently owned by Albert Fri & Sons) and
Brannon Sand and Gravel, have caused restriction to the natural ground water flow to the Platte River.
