Bill Bear <br />and /or Gary Harding of Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) were present during the inspection, and Tamme Bishop of <br />J.E. Stover and Associates, Inc. was present during the second day of the field inspection. Weather conditions <br />during the inspection were cloudy with intermittent rain showers; ground conditions were very wet. The operator <br />recorded 2.4" of rain at the site for the month of August, through the morning of August 26, 2014. Muddy ground <br />conditions precluded access to many of the gob vent boreholes and the Terror Creek vent site. <br />The longwall operation is currently working in the B Seam at the end of panel B 15; it is anticipated that the <br />longwall will be moved to panel B 16 in September. Refuse was being hauled to Gob Pile 93. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION— Rule 4.17: <br />Wet weather has kept dust down on the roadways and refuse areas. No fugitive dust was observed anywhere on <br />site. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />Records were inspected at the BRL offices the morning of August 28, 2014 - documentation of records inspected <br />is located at the end of this report. The following documents needed to be updated: current bond rider, 2nd <br />quarter pond and waste pile reports, and DRMS inspection reports since March 2014. All other records were <br />current. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE Rule 4.18: <br />Deer were congregating along the haul road. Turkeys were observed near Pond F and along the panel B 11 gob <br />vent boreholes.
