d.There will be no acid forming or toxic producing materials mined. <br /> e.All drill holes will be plugged or covered.There will be no adits or shafts in the mining <br /> operation. <br /> f. Maximum slopes will not exceed 21-1: 1V and will not exceed more than 30%of the <br /> total areas unless specifically left as a cliff or talus slope and will conform to the surrounding areas <br /> to the East, North and South as closely as practical. <br /> g. Agricultural use is not practical in this area. <br /> 4. a. Topsoil is not present in any appreciable amount. If any amount is encountered in the <br /> area to be disturbed, it will be segregated from other soils and vegetated to preserve it from wind <br /> and water erosion. <br /> b.The limited woody vegetation that is present will be incorporated into the existing <br /> topsoil and overburden to ensure the existing vegetation is put to a beneficial use such as mulching. <br /> c.Topsoil stockpiles are not expected but in the case topsoil is encountered, it shall be <br /> stored in places and configurations to minimize erosion. <br /> d. Once stockpiled,the topsoil shall be rehandled as little as possible until replacement <br /> on the disturbed area. <br /> e. Fertilizer or other soil amendments shall be added if the test plot indicates it will have <br /> a substantial lasting benefit on the revegetation. Beet dirt and other suitable soil additives may be <br /> used, as available, *but will not be relied upon)to enhance plant growth on less steep slopes and <br /> flat lying areas. <br /> h.Vegetative piles shall be incorporated into the overburden. <br /> 5. a. Land shall be revegetated with native species exclusively in at least an equal extent to <br /> cover to the natural vegetation of the surrounding area which is scattered to area.The applied seeds <br /> will include a mixture of Little Bluestem, Big Bluestem,Switchgrass,Side Oats Grama, Blue Grama, <br /> Western Wheat Grass,Yellow Sweet Clover, Green Needle Grass,Sheep Fescue, Lewis Flax, <br /> Sunflower, Mountain Mahogany, Indian Rice Grass and Blue Bunch Wheat Grass.Seed and mulch <br /> will be applied using hydroseeding or conventional planting methods and will be monitored and <br /> replanted as necessary to achieve a cover no less than that which is naturally occurring.
