Please <br /> describe the access route and provide the dimensions of the existing access roads. Also, <br /> indicate if any of the existing roads will need to be upgraded in order to accommodate <br /> equipment; note that improved roads must be included as part of the permitted acreage. <br /> 3. The Applicant has identified a `Parking Area' on the proposed mine site. Please describe how <br /> the parking area will be utilized and indicate if there is an existing disturbance at the site. <br /> Also, specify if the Applicant will be affecting this area through grading or other <br /> improvements. <br /> 4. As required by Rule 6.3.3(1)(h), specify how much water will be used in conjunction with <br /> the operation and specify the source of the water. <br /> 5. The Applicant has stated a self-contained water pump system will be used to wash aggregates <br /> at the proposed mine site. Please provide a brief description of the self-contained water pump <br /> system and specify how the used wash water will be disposed. <br /> 6. The Applicant did not identify a specific processing area where washing of the aggregates <br /> will occur. Please confirm that aggregates will be washed within the dig areas. <br /> 7. The Applicant has identified three target areas: A, B &C. The Applicant has stated that the <br /> excavation in Target Area B will not exceed 6 to 8 feet. Please specify how deep the <br /> excavations will be in Target Area A and C. <br /> 8. The Applicant has stated the excavator uses techniques to prevent rock fall and to stabilize <br /> the slopes in Target Area B. Please describe the techniques that will be used to stabilize the <br /> slope. <br /> 9. The Applicant has stated there will be a head wall with a length of 40 ft. in Target Area B. <br /> Please specify the width of the excavation. <br /> 10. Please specify the proposed dimensions of the excavation in Target Area C. <br /> 6.3.5 Exhibit D—Reclamation Plan <br /> 11. The Applicant has indicated the mining season at the proposed site will last a maximum of 21 <br /> days. Please specify if reclamation will be performed at the end of each mining season. <br /> 12. As required by Rule 6.3.4(l)(b),please specify the maximum gradient of reclaimed slopes <br /> for each Target Area. <br />
