June 18, 2014C-1994-082/Yoast MineJHB <br />established and appear healthy. <br />The tree and shrub seedlings thatwere transplanted along the north side of YPM-6-3 have survived very well. <br />Very little seedling mortality was observed in these transplanted woody species(Photo 12). <br />Although noxious species were observed throughout the mine site, it appeared that white toptended to be <br />establishing within roadways. SCC may evaluate if vehicles driving in the reclaimed areas are acting as weed <br />vectors. <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE -Rule 4.12: <br />SCC has been working on repairing gullies along the access road. The previously identified gully on the <br />east side of the road, south of the livestock corrals has been repaired. <br />One gully south of the corrals has been partially fixed but not yet shaped. This repair needs to be completed. <br />(photo 3) <br />There is a small slump at the north east side of SP06-1. <br />The steep slope north of Pond 012 is staying stable. Pennycress and flixweed are present on the lower slope, put <br />perennial grasses were noted emerging within the annual and biennial species. Western wheatgrass is establishing <br />on the higher portion of this slope(photo 11). <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS –Rule 4.02: <br />The mine identification sign on the access road from Routt County Road 27 need to be repaired. This item <br />was previously identified as needing to be repaired in the April 24, 2014 inspection report.
