June 24, 2014 C-1980-004/McClane Canyon Mine ZTT

The silt fences below the two topsoil stockpiles have been repaired. No issues remain.

Sediment trap that lies on the southern side of the ride is in the process of being cleaned. Due to wet conditions of
the sediment, cleaning is occurring in a staged process to allow for the freshly exposed sediment to dry. No issues
were observed.

The mine dewatering pump was not running at the time of the inspection. When the pump is operating, water is
pumped from the mine workings and discharged into a clean water diversion culvert which then carries the water
to East Salt Creek. The culvert related to the mine dewatering pump was clear of all debris.

The northern clean water diversion culvert is being blocked by vegetation. The vegetation will need to be removed
from around the inlet of the culvert structure to ensure proper drainage during a storm event.

The East Salt Creek was flowing at the time of the inspection.

Equipment and material removed from ditch.
