June 26, 2014 C-1981-018/Deserado Mine ZTT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Facility area ditch behind the rotary breaker appears to not be conveying drainage properly. Sediment appears to <br />have built up midway along the ditch causing water to pond within the ditch. <br /> <br />Large unkown items of materials have been pushed within the ditch behind the warehouse building. These items <br />need to be removed from the ditch. Please refer to the pictures below for identification of items. <br /> <br />Ponds RR-1, RRS-1, SS-1 and SS-2 were dry at time of the inspection. No issues were observed and ponds remain <br />stable. <br /> <br />B-seam dewatering pond system was inspected. Pumping was not occurring during the inspection. Water was last <br />pumped the Tuesday prior to the inspection. Water had been pumped up to the artificial wetlands section. To the <br />date of this inspection, no water has been discharged from the B-seam dewatering pond system. <br /> <br />All refuse ponds (RP-1, 2/3, 4 and 5) were inspected. Ponds RP-1, 4 and 5 were dry. RP-2/3 held minimal water in <br />the upper cells of the pond. No stability or erosion issues were observed. Spillways were stable and clear of any <br />debris. <br /> <br />SAEnal issues and proper sediment control practices as approved by the Deserado <br />Mine permit. All SAEs were stable with no erosion issues. The following SAEs were inspected: <br />Water Storage Tank <br /> Explosives Storage <br /> Haul Road Blisters <br /> Radio Tower <br /> Rock Dust Tanks <br /> B-Vent Shafts <br />Nitrogen Injection Pads <br /> <br /> <br />Material within ditch. Ditch behind rotary breaker. <br /> <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> <br />Weed spraying has occurred around the site. Specific areas were pointed out by Scott Wanstedt.
