I, Jared Ebert of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. <br />Mr. Danny Kipp with Coors Energy Company accompanied me during the inspection. The weather was clear and <br />sunny. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The records were checked at the mine office. See the end of the report for details. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14; Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour <br />4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials <br />4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />The Operator continues to backfill B -Pit with fly ash. Two loads of fly ash were delivered to the site prior to the <br />inspection. The ash had been backfilled and graded into B -Pit. A thin layer of spoil has been placed over the fly <br />ash. <br />Reclamation parcel 33 has been backfilled with spoil but has not been topsoiled. This area appears stable. <br />The Operator periodically removes spoil from the long term spoil pile. The recent excavation within the spoil pile <br />has been graded and appears stable. <br />Reclamation parcel 32 has been backfilled with spoil.
