CLIMATE INFORMATION
The USDA -NRCS Soil Survey indicates the climate of Morgan County is semi -arid continenta, with highly
variable wind speed, precipiation and temperatures. The average annual precipitation is 14 inches. In
winter the average low temperature is 15 degrees Farenheit. In summer, the average maximum
temperature is 86 degrees Farenheit. Most of the precipitation falls between April and September as a
result of thunderstorms.
