Please also see the attached Technical Revision application(TR 72)filed <br /> with the State of Colorado. <br /> Please accept the following letter as CCV's application for a Minor Modification of the MDP to <br /> accommodate the installation of a 13.2 KV power line which will be located within the Amendment# 10 <br /> permit boundary. The line ties-in to the substation just south of the Carlton entrance and the existing 13.2 <br /> KV line just north of the crusher dump pocket(see attached drawing C-3 Proposed Facilities Buildings <br /> and Utilities). The entire footprint of the power line and tower site is on land owned by CC&V within <br /> MLE-2 Amendment 10 and on previously disturbed land. It will cross State Highway#67 running <br /> parallel to Black Hill's existing ring line to the backside of Victor. Hence visually it is conjoined <br /> with an existing power line. <br /> This Minor Modification is necessary as the particulars of construction of this facility were not <br /> anticipated in the MLE-2 application but the activity itself i.e.,power lines were part of the MDP. This <br /> application is being made at the present time as CCV has realized future additional power requirements to <br /> accommodate the full MLE 2 infrastructure build out. CCV plans to begin this installation in June/July <br /> of 2014. <br /> Minor Modification Application <br /> a.
