Bill Bear and <br />Gary Harding of Bowie Resources, LLC (BRL) were present during the inspection, and Tamme Bishop of J.E. <br />Stover & Associates, Inc. was present during a portion of the inspection. Weather conditions were clear and <br />warm; ground conditions were dry. The mine is currently operating the longwall in the B 15 panel; a trainload of <br />coal was loaded and shipped out during the inspection. <br />Several items needing maintenance have been identified as a result of this inspection. The timeframe for <br />completion of these items is as follows: Silt fences and wattles - July 15, 2014; Weed management - August 15, <br />2014; drainage structure permitting - June 27, 2014; pond cleaning - July 31, 2014. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION— Rule 4.17: <br />Ground conditions were dry, so water trucks were spraying the haul roads. No fugitive dust was observed from <br />the roadways or refuse disposal areas during the inspection. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS —Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />Records were inspected at the mine office. Documentation of available records is attached as the last page of this <br />report. <br />BACK-FILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14 Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour <br />4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)0; Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling ofAcid and Toxic Materials <br />4.14.3; Stabilization ofRills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Backfilling and grading operations were underway on gob vent boreholes over the B 12 and B 13 panels. Pads that <br />had been completed appeared to blend well with the surrounding topography. <br />During previous inspections, the Division observed that the Hubbard Creek vent shaft site had settled about one <br />foot in the immediate vicinity of the backfilled shaft bore.
