June 10, 2014 C- 1982 - 056 /Foidel Creek Mine JDM
Possible Sediment Sump Disturbance at Train Loadout
GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE:
The Foidel Creek Mine is conducting activities approved under Minor Revision No's 269, 272, 274, 276, 277, and
278. These Minor Revision approved the drilling and reclamation of corehole sites which include the
development and reclamation of drill pads, mud pits, and coreholes.
Corehole sites WC018 and WC019 were inspected during this coal complete inspection. Both sites remain active
with no drilling being conducted during the inspection. Both sites are stable with drilling equipment on -site. Both
sites encountered heavy artisan conditions during drilling and are permitted to disturb a 250' X 250' area to
accommodate the excess water. No problems were noted during the inspection of the sites, with the exception of
the following:
- Near the WC019 site a large natural head cut was observed, although this is not mine related, fresh material was
located on the edge of the head cut. If this material is associated with the WC019 access road or the WC019 pad it
will need to be relocated to a closer proximity to the road or pad to be used in reclamation operations.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 10
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4
Page 6 of 13
