June 10, 2014 C- 1982 - 056 /Foidel Creek Mine JDM <br />- Whitetop patches were observed within the topsoil piles and along the pad embankments. Management will be <br />required. <br />The CR27 rock dust tank pad was stable. No problems were noted, with the exception of the following: <br />- Excess rock dust in and around the topsoil pile and throughout the pad will need to be addressed and cleared. <br />- Additional seeding will be required on the topsoil pile to ensure no loss of material. <br />- Houndstoungue rosettes were observed throughout the <br />CR 27 Rock Dust Tank Topsoil Pile <br />Rock Dust Tank Pad <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />Signs and markers were in place as required throughout the mine site and no problems noted, with the exception of <br />the following: <br />- Disturbance area markers at the east side of the 18 LT pad will need to be relocated to the approved disturbance <br />boundary. <br />Maintenance items identified during past inspections: <br />- Topsoil markers at the soil piles to the east of the RDA (SF -14) and to the south of the RDA (CRDA S I and <br />CRDA -C1). <br />- Disturbance area markers near the soil piles CRDA S2 and CRDA -C2 will need to be located in the boundaries <br />of the disturbance. <br />- Two topsoil markers were identified in the Eckman 41, 42, and 42 surface mine reclamation west of the RDA. <br />According to the permit Twentymile Coal assumed responsibility for a portion of the Eckman Park reclamation <br />(including the area with the markers), but they are not approved to disturb this reclamation.
