June 10, 2014 C- 1982 - 056 /Foidel Creek Mine JDM <br />1 <br />e _ <br />RDA -6A <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Roads throughout the mine site were wet but stable at the time of the inspection. All roads were in good condition <br />with no problems noted, with the exception of the following: <br />- Heavy whitetop was observed along the roads and road embankments throughout the facilities area. Noted areas <br />include: the truck scale road embankment slope, the Pond B access road, areas between the RDA and the RDA <br />access road. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />The reclaimed Fish Creek Tipple area, 18RT vent shaft area, and the bleeder shaft are stable with no problems <br />noted, with the exception of the following: <br />- thistle patches, houndstoungue, and small white top patches were observed on the western slope of the Fish <br />Creek Tipple Area and will require management. <br />Corehole WC009 was developed and drilled on the 18 RT vent shaft location. This site has been reclaimed and <br />received Phase 1 bond release under SL -1. The re- disturbed area associated with the development drilling will <br />require removal from Phase 1 status. The remaining portion of the reclaimed 18RT shaft pad was stable with no <br />problems noted. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 10 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 <br />Page 9 of 13 <br />
